JOB DESCRIPTION

Ohio Design is looking for a Delivery Driver & General Maintenance Person. This person will take ownership of their work and perform to high quality standards. We are a mid-size growing furniture design and manufacturing business located in the heart of the Mission district of San Francisco.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Provides efficient and safe delivery and pick up of various items, while representing the company in a professional manner (clean clothes and hands, well kept appearance).
+ Operates our Sprinter Van safely and efficiently.
+ Loads and unloads company vehicle.
+ Maintains an organized, clean interior and exterior of the vehicle.
+ Maintains neat and clean personal appearance to uphold OHIOs public image.
+ Daily cleaning and maintenance as needed in our workshop, sweeping, emptying trash cans, touching up wall with paint.
+ Heavy lifting required.
+ Communicates clearly with the team via: written, text, phone, and email.

QUALIFICATIONS

+ The applicant must be proactive, energetic, responsible person with a great work ethic and great people skills.
+ You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as a team member.
+ You also much have a clean, put together appearance.
+ While you are on deliveries, you will be representing the brand of OHIO, which is clean and modern.
+ We would prefer that applicants have an interest in design.
+ Applicants must also have a clean driving record.
+ We highly stress organization and cleanliness, so please only apply if this is one of your strong suits.

COMPENSATION

$16/hour

HOURS

Full time: 5 days a week, 8am-4:30pm
